Peet Bezuidenhout., has spent his entire life on Popallin Ranch and, consequently, knows it as home. Hence, he is extremely familiar with the animals and the veld.

On completion of formal schooling, which included 12 months spent at agricultural college, and with a passion for the outdoor life, Peet attended the Game Hunters Hunting School in 1994. On completion of his course he was awarded the institution's 'Top Student' accolade.

He then began his career on Popallin Ranch initially as a game capturer, and thereafter moving on to hunt professionally with international clients. Over the last seven years he has participated in many hunts, including the Big 5, specializing in Buffalo.

An excellent marksman himself, his experience with many previous hunting expeditions will be used to your safety and advantage.

All improvements and additions undertaken on the ranch have been done with his input and collaboration, because of his exhaustive knowledge of the needs of the environment.

Peet is a qualified helicopter pilot, is a Master Measurer of SCI as well as being a member of the Professional Hunters Association of South Africa (PHASA).

Having worked at a variety of nurseries during his teenage years, Peet also has an excellent knowledge of the indigenous flora of the Limpopo River Valley area.
