Doves and pigeons can be shot year round however it is generally accepted that the best time is April to September. Ducks, Geese & Perdiz are hunted May through August. Temperatures in April are moderate with temperatures in the range of 10 – the low 20s. Temperatures in May and June are 10 - 15, and July and August are 5 -15. Perfect hunting weather.
CLOTHING AND GEARThe weather in April and May tends to be cool (10 -15) in the early morning, then warming to the 20’s. June is a transitional month, cooler in the morning (10), warming to the 15. July and August are the coldest, 5 in the morning, warming to the 15. As you can see, you must dress in layers to remain comfortable. Laundry is available.

HATSCamo or Olive drab
A broad brim hat is the best during the mosquito season from January to late May. GLOVESShooting gloves or Gortex gloves are a must to protect you’re hands from the hot gun barrels. SOCKSQuality Cotton Athletic is fine. 
BOOTSWaders or hip boots – you will not be in the water over your knees on the way to your blind. Waders guarantee you will stay dry and comfortable. Good field boots for upland shooting.
GEARDo not forget your CHOKE TUBES, Insect repellent, shooting glasses, gun or spray oil, Camo half face mask or camo bandanna (your face is like a neon sign and it needs to be covered), camo waist pack (great for chokes and insect repellent), shell pouch for rapid reloading!
